When your child struggles to communicate, eat comfortably, or keep up with everyday life, it can affect the whole family. At Brain Builders, we provide integrated speech, feeding, and occupational therapy to help children build strong foundations for communication, feeding, and functional skills in a warm, playful environment.
Our licensed speech, feeding, and occupational therapist team works with children from birth through adolescence, combining evidence-based techniques with family-centered care. Whether your child needs support with first words, clear speech, picky eating, handwriting, or sensory regulation, we design therapy around their strengths, interests, and goals, so progress feels natural and empowering.
Connected Care: Speech, Language, Feeding & Daily Life Skills
Our therapists take a whole-child approach, blending speech and language therapy with sensory and motor support from occupational therapy. It allows us to address challenges such as articulation, social communication, attention, sensory processing, and self-help skills all under one roof.
Through comprehensive speech therapy services, your child may work with a speech pathologist or language therapist to understand and use language, more precise speech sounds, fluency, and social skills. We also support kids who need speech disorder treatment, assistive communication tools, or early intervention to meet developmental milestones.
Our occupational therapist focuses on fine motor skills, emotional regulation, sensory needs, visual-motor skills, and independence with tasks like dressing, writing, and play. By integrating occupational therapy with communication goals, we help kids participate more fully and confidently in everyday routines at home and school.

Gentle, Effective Feeding & Tongue Tie Support
Feeding shouldn’t be a daily struggle. Our dedicated feeding therapist delivers specialized feeding therapy for infants, toddlers, and children who experience picky eating, oral motor delays, sensory aversions, or difficulty transitioning to new textures and foods. Sessions are positive, child-led, and focused on building comfort, confidence, and healthy mealtime habits.
We also provide targeted tongue tie help and support related to lip ties and oral motor challenges. Our team understands how tethered oral tissues can impact breastfeeding, bottle feeding, chewing, speech sounds, sleep, and even breathing patterns. With individualized treatment and coordination with your medical providers, we create step-by-step plans that help children move, eat, and speak more comfortably.
Often, our language pathologist partners closely with our feeding and occupational therapists to address both oral motor skills and communication. This collaborative model leads to more efficient progress and a smoother experience for families.

OUR SERVICES
Language Therapy
Language therapy is designed to improve children's receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills. The therapist will interact with a child by playing and talking, using pictures, books, objects, toys, or ongoing events to stimulate speech and language development. Depending on your child's needs, an augmentative communication device may be recommended.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy services are designed for children experiencing delays in articulation and/or phonology. The therapist will work to shape and elicit new ways of producing sounds through playing, talking, and table work. Homework is typically provided each session as progress, development, and generalization for articulation and phonology requires outside practice.
Our orofacial myology exercises are aimed at improving the strength, positioning and coordination of the muscles in the mouth and throat, leading to better dental and speech outcomes. Symptoms targeted include tongue thrust, noxious oral habits such as thumb sucking, snoring, mouth breathing, drooling, lips, jaw and tongue strength, feeding, and articulation. Exercises optimize chewing, speaking, swallowing and breathing.
Our qualified specialists use the latest techniques and technologies to provide personalized treatment plans, tailored to the individual needs of each client. We work with children and adults alike, helping them achieve optimal orofacial health and function.

Over time, they may develop restrictive diets and refusal of foods.
